Mspace Outage Update

As of today, mspace is still unavailable but our goal is to have files accessible to users by Monday, November 2nd.  

We are using the assistance of Microsoft and Dell in the recovery process, however it is taking longer than originally anticipated.  We do not believe any files are permanently lost, but we cannot be certain until the recovery processes are complete.  We understand that files you have saved on mspace are important to you and we are making every effort to restore them to you.  In some cases students may be delayed submitting assignments because of the lack of accessibility to stored information. We would hope faculty would be flexible in these cases.  

As soon as files are once again accessible we will notify everyone by email bulletin.  In the meantime, please check MyUTEP or here on the Information Technology News Wiki for updates about the mspace recovery.
